Keep your systems in step with each other.

Copying data between tools creates delays and mistakes. We connect the systems and make failed exchanges visible.

No pressure, no hard sell.

We account for information that is late, duplicated or rejected, with clear record ownership and recoverable exceptions. Bring the exchange you handle manually today; we will map its rules before building the connector.

What we deliver

An integration contract

We record the source and destination of each field, the events that trigger an exchange and the system responsible for the final value. We include external API limits and access requirements. This contract helps your team review the business meaning of the connection, not just the technical request format.

Validated incoming data

A provider response can be incomplete or change shape. We validate the fields the application actually needs and distinguish missing data from an empty value. Rejected records carry a useful reason. The connector should make a disagreement visible instead of quietly creating a record your team cannot trust.

Repeat-safe processing

Network uncertainty can leave an operation's outcome unclear, and events may arrive more than once. We define a stable operation identity and an appropriate record of processing. Where the provider supports it, we use its duplicate-protection mechanism. Repeated execution is tested against the business action the integration performs.

Bounded retries and recovery

Temporary failures and invalid requests need different responses. We classify errors, define retry limits and avoid repeatedly sending a request that cannot succeed unchanged. Failed work remains inspectable. The operating notes explain when a person should correct data, retry an exchange or reconcile its outcome with the provider.

Webhook and reconciliation flows

For inbound events, we check the provider's verification requirements and keep processing rules separate from transport handling. We account for ordering where the business state requires it. A reconciliation approach compares important records across systems, so missing or delayed events have a defined investigation path rather than remaining invisible.

Documentation your team can use

We document credentials, field mappings, relevant event states and common failures without placing secrets in the source. A walkthrough shows where to find an exchange and understand its status. You receive test examples and operating notes, making the integration easier to maintain when the external service or your workflow changes.

We will agree the deliverables before implementation.

How it works

  1. Map the exchange

We start with the business event and follow the information across systems. We identify authoritative records, timing expectations and the people who handle exceptions. Provider documentation and available sandbox access shape the feasibility review. You approve the mapping and the cases that the first release will cover.

  2. Agree failure behavior

We discuss duplicate events, partial success, expired credentials and unavailable providers before implementation. Each case needs a clear response and an owner. We distinguish what can be automated from what needs human review. These decisions become acceptance examples that your team can understand and check.

  3. Build and exercise the connector

We implement the connection with the available provider test environment or controlled fixtures. Tests cover the normal exchange and the scoped failure cases. We inspect the records left by retries and repeated events. Reviews show both the successful outcome and how someone would investigate a failure.

  4. Release with a recovery plan

We agree the cutover, credential setup and initial reconciliation process. Existing records may need a staged import rather than an immediate sync. We document the point at which each system becomes authoritative. Your team gets a walkthrough of the connection and the steps for resolving incomplete exchanges.

We follow the interfaces your providers offer, whether an HTTP API, events or file exchange. Authentication, rate limits and verification follow the chosen provider documentation. We confirm constraints and sandbox limitations during scoping, then record supported operations and remaining dependencies in the connection plan.

We will explain the stack before the build.

Typical outcomes

Fewer manual handoffs

The scoped exchange can move information without someone copying it between screens. We review the exact fields and triggers involved, so automation follows an agreed rule. Exceptions remain visible rather than turning a manual process into an opaque background task.

A visible state for failed work

Defined statuses and failure reasons give support a starting point when systems disagree. Your team can see what needs attention and why. We demonstrate that investigation flow with a failed exchange before release, using the access available in your environment.

A maintainable connection

A documented contract and representative test cases help identify the impact of provider changes. They give later engineering work a basis for review. We hand over the relevant mappings, assumptions and recovery decisions so the connection can be maintained with context.

We will agree concrete acceptance examples for these intended improvements.

Engagement options

A fixed-scope project fits a defined exchange between named systems. Dedicated monthly engineering fits a product with several evolving connections. Hourly consulting can clarify an unreliable integration or a provider choice before a build. Share the provider names and the business event you need to automate, and we will propose the next step.

Fixed-scope project

Defined deliverables, agreed acceptance criteria and scope changes discussed before implementation.

Dedicated monthly engineering

An evolving backlog, priorities agreed together and working increments you can review.

Hourly technical consulting

A focused question, agreed review boundaries and findings to inform your next decision.

Bring your constraints; we will recommend a starting model.

Questions before we start

Can you connect a payment or booking provider?

We can assess the provider's API, available access and your required workflow. The scope depends on supported operations, test facilities and account permissions. We do not assume every provider exposes the same features. Send the provider documentation and the action you need to complete, and we will review feasibility first.

What if a webhook arrives twice?

The handler needs a way to recognize an event or business operation that has already been processed. The right identity depends on the provider and the action involved. We define and test that behavior during implementation, including what happens if a previous attempt failed partway through. You review the intended recovery rule.

Can everything be synchronized immediately?

Timing depends on provider events, API limits and the workflow itself. Some exchanges can respond to events; others need scheduled reconciliation. We make those differences explicit before promising a user-facing status. Bring any timing requirement to discovery so we can check whether the available interfaces support it.

Can you fix an existing integration?

Yes. We can review mappings, processing records and failure examples to locate the problem. A useful first scope may be improving recovery or visibility rather than replacing the connector. We will distinguish observed faults from assumptions and recommend a sequence of changes based on the evidence available.

How are credentials handled?

Credentials belong in environment configuration or an appropriate secret store, with access limited to the connection's needs. We keep them out of source code and ordinary logs. The exact setup follows your hosting environment and provider requirements. The handover explains where configuration lives and how your team can replace credentials.

Include other constraints in your enquiry so we can review them during scoping.
